As a child, Angel began singing in church and school choirs, nurturing her performing skills in the award-winning John Burroughs High School Show Choir, where she proudly served as President in her senior year. While earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music at Cal State University, Northridge, Angel studied Music Industry and Voice, focusing on Opera, Choral music, Jazz and Musical Theater.
After graduation, she put her abilities to work on stage and in the studio. Film and Television Credits include SING 2, DORA AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD, Marvel Studios' ECHO, MODERN FAMILY, PARKS AND RECREATION, GAME AWARDS 2018 and the singing voice for lead character, “Xiomara” on the WB’s JANE THE VIRGIN. Angel has worked with talents like BECK (Loser), A TASTE OF HONEY (Boogie Oogie), GQ (Disco Nights), and EDDIE HOLMAN (Hey There Lonely Girl). She can be seen singing with various variety bands at venues like Disney’s California Adventure as well as the West’s top Gloria Estefan tribute band, LA Sound Machine.
Angel also has lent her voice to choral groups such as Los Robles Master Chorale, Metropolitan Master Chorale and the Cal Phil Chorale, with whom she has enjoyed performing at venues such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Her favorite style of music to perform is 80s Rock and New Wave, though many different Pop and R&B styles as well as classical choral are her specialty.
Angel loves singing in harmony with others, both literally and figuratively!
